Sepiolite Mg₄(OH)₂·6H₂O is used for the production of compound feeds and premixes for farm animals. It is used as an adsorbent for mycotoxins and heavy metals in feeds. Sepiolite can be used to enrich diets with magnesium, as well as to reduce the level of moisture in bedding and lower gas accumulation in animal houses.
